Accommodations
The “One Horse Gap Trail Rides are held annually at "New Hope Hill". At the junction of Rt. 34 and Rt. 145 located 7 miles South of Harrisburg, take Rt. 34. Travel 7 ½ miles Southeast and turn right at Herod on Williams Hill Rd. Travel on Raum Rd to New Hope Lane. Camp is ½ mile top of hill on New Hope Lane.

At the junction of Rt. 34 and Rt. 146 located 10 miles North of Golconda, Take Rt. 34. Travel 9.5 miles North and turn left at Herod on Williams Hill Rd. Travel on Raum Rd to New Hope Lane. Camp is ½ mile top of the hill on New Hope Lane.

Entry Fee includes camping Saturday through Friday night and meals beginning at noon on Sunday, ending with Saturday morning's breakfast. Meals are available for purchase for Saturday supper and Sunday breakfast prior to the start of the ride. Campers may arrive on Thursday before the ride begins. Early camp fee will be charged for Thursday and Friday nights. Special arrivals before Thursday can be arranged ahead of time. Contact us.

Pens for horses are required and must be reserved in advance. Hay-Oats-Sweetfeed are available at cost and a camp horseshoer is also available (private treaty).

Tent camping is also welcome.

A small number of rooms to rent are available locally off-site. Please contact us for details.

The State of Illinois is requires an "Entry Permit" for out of state equine. Effective February 1, 2004. Contact your vet for details.
